Local Restaurants

The Store (previously Crossroads).  Prepares "Krunchy Chicken". There are several sides to add. They also have sandwiches as well as really good breakfast burritos.  Give them try, located on the southeast corner at the blinking light at Hwy 83 and Hwy 70.

Next you'll find one of the hippest hamburger stands in Texas. The Dixie Maid. Don't take our word for it, just ask Texas Monthly! Try the steak finger basket, ummmmm good! and the one thing kids coming home for a visit head for first! Dixie Maid features the famous Dixie Dog, corn dog, and chili hot dog. And don't leave town before sampling the hand-battered sweet onion rings, milkshakes made with real ice cream, banana splits, and, well heck, EVERYTHING! This is the No. 1 lunch spot for all the school kids, and their parents, too!
